One foldable panel turns sunlight into electricity your home uses right away, so you buy less power from the grid. It is the simplest way to start with plug-in solar, with the smallest footprint and the lowest upfront cost of the EcoFlow kits. And because the panel folds away, your solar can easily move when you do.

  • Lower your electric bill by roughly 4-10% with 400W of solar
  • Works well for apartments, renters, and homeowners, no rooftop installation
  • Folds away for easy storage, or take it with you when you move

What's included

  • One 400W foldable solar panel
  • One protective case that doubles as a kickstand
  • One EcoFlow STREAM microinverter
  • Two solar connector cables
  • Four snap hooks to secure your panel
  • Microinverter mounting hardware and a standard AC plug connection cable

Monitoring is through the free EcoFlow app. No battery is included.

How it works

The panel turns sunlight into electricity, and the STREAM microinverter makes it usable for your home.

Set the panel up in any sunny spot, on a sunny balcony (laid flat or propped on the kickstand), patio or in the yard. Connect the panel to the microinverter with the connector cables, and plug the system into a suitable outdoor outlet. Watch your solar production in the EcoFlow app.

Your home uses your solar power first, so you draw less from the grid while the sun is shining. The microinverter is rated for up to 1200W of power; see the product guide to learn more and get the most power from your kit.

Before you install

You will need a dedicated circuit with a properly grounded, GFCI-protected outdoor outlet, and any circuit or outlet work is a job for a qualified electrician. Check the rules where you live, state, local government, your utility, and your landlord or HOA if you have one, before you buy or install. This is grid-connected solar that works alongside your utility service, not backup power during an outage.

400W is rated panel capacity, not guaranteed production. Actual output depends on sunlight, placement, temperature and inverter settings. Check with your utility that your meter and billing can handle exported solar before buying.
