More power. Serious off-grid solar.

The EcoFlow 400W Solar Panel is built for the times when 110 or 220 watts just isn't enough. Whether you want to power a larger off-grid setup, keep a basecamp running, or charge a high-capacity power station without waiting all day, this panel closes the gap between "dipping your toes in" and harnessing energy off the grid. It's the most powerful portable panel in the EcoFlow lineup.

Why It Works for You

More output, faster charging: At 400 watts of rated solar input, you're generating enough energy in a good afternoon to meaningfully recharge a large portable power station, or run one and charge it at the same time

Up to 23% efficiency: Monocrystalline silicon cells with multi busbar technology mean you're getting more usable energy per square foot of panel than most competing options at this size

Folds flat, self-supporting: A one-piece folding design with an integrated adjustable kickstand means setup takes about 30 seconds. No separate stand to assemble, no guesswork about angle

IP68 waterproof: ETFE coating and a full IP68 rating protect against rain, dust, and outdoor conditions. It keeps collecting energy in weather that would keep you inside

Built to travel: Multi-layered flexible materials give it impact resistance for the outdoors, while a rigid layer in the carry case prevents overbending in transit or storage

Pairs with any EcoFlow power station: Standard XT60 charging cable is included and compatible with EcoFlow's DELTA lines, as well as most other MC4-compatible power stations

What It Powers

Paired with a compatible EcoFlow portable power station (sold separately), a full day of sun with this panel can generate roughly 1,200Wh or more of usable energy in real-world conditions. That's enough to power:

  • A mini fridge running around the clock (16-24 hr)
  • A fan on high for most of the day
  • Wi-Fi router running continuously
  • LED lights on for several days
  • Phones, tablets, and laptops charged and ready

The more you pair it with, the more useful it gets. This panel is built for power stations with larger battery capacities, where its output makes a real dent in charge time.

The Lifetime Picture

At an average of 4 peak sun hours per day, this panel generates roughly 10,950 kWh over 25 years. At the U.S. average electricity rate, that's around $1,975 in energy value. In higher-rate states like California or New York, closer to $3,695.

Based on an estimated real-world average output of ~300W, 4 peak sun hours/day, 25 years of panel life, and electricity rates of $0.1805/kWh (national average) and $0.3375/kWh (high-rate states).

A Note on Portability

At 35.5 lbs, this panel is heavier than the 110W and 220W options. It folds into a compact carrying case and has a handle, but it's best suited for semi-permanent setups: a backyard, a patio, a campsite you'll be at for a few days, or a vehicle with cargo space. If you want something easier to carry on a hike or throw in a daypack, the 110W or 220W are better fits.
