The Smart Extra Battery lets you get event more out of your RIVER 3 Plus. Stack one onto your power station, no cables or screws required, and you instantly expand your energy storage. More capacity means more solar energy banked from the sun each day, longer runtimes for your essentials, and more confidence when the power goes out or you head off the grid.

Why It Works for You

Expands your storage: Add the EB300 to go from 286 watt-hours to 572 watt-hours. Add the EB600 to reach the maximum 858 watt-hours, nearly triple the base capacity of the RIVER 3 Plus.

Snaps on wirelessly: Pogo Pin technology means the battery connects directly to your RIVER 3 Plus with no cables, no screws, and no fuss. Clip it on and you're done.

Use it independently: The extra battery has its own 140W USB-C port, so you can detach it and use it as a standalone power bank for phones, laptops, and other devices when you don't need the full system

Banks more of your daily solar harvest: The EcoFlow NextGen 220W Solar Panel generates about 880 watt-hours on a good day. With the base RIVER 3 Plus alone, some of that solar energy could go unused once the battery is full.

Same safe, long-lasting battery chemistry: Both Smart Extra Batteries use LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate), rated for 3,000 full charge cycles and about 10 years of regular use.

A Quick Word on the Battery

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is one of the safest battery chemistries available, the same technology used in medical equipment. It's resistant to overheating, far more stable than conventional lithium-ion batteries, and rated for 3,000 full charge cycles, about 10 years of regular use before capacity begins to decline.
